I just found out Sliding Into Home is on the Massachusetts Children’s Book Award 2006-07 Master List (that’s six state lists for that one!) and Do You Know the Monkey Man is on the grades 2007 Kentucky Bluegrass Award List. I would’ve thought it was a little early for lists for Do You Know the Monkey Man, but I’m not complaining!

No. It doesn’t have anything to do with bluegrass. That’s just what they call the children’s choice award in Kentucky.
